Former NBC News Chief political analyst Chuck Todd provided an explanation on Friday’s podcast as to why he believes former President Joe Biden’s White House intentionally did not hide his decline.

“You know how you read something, but do you feel more accurate than what I’ve heard? [What] Whipple says: Look, there was no Parkinsonson diagnosis covered, right? “Todd said. Todd also speculated that Biden’s decline might have been more obvious to his staff if he faced off against former Republican South Carolina Gov. Nicky Haley, not Trump.
“If you’re 80 and standing next to 80, I think you’ll see pretty well in the mirror,” he said. “You’re 80 years old, you’re standing next to a 50 year old, and all of a sudden you go. “Who’s the old man standing next to a 50 year old?”
“Yes, everyone could see Biden slowing down, but that didn’t look like a threat, as the candidate on the other side was Donald Trump,” he continued. “And this is where the Trump Mad Syndrome version could have influenced Biden’s clear idea of behavior and potential performance.”
Todd also claimed in “Pia Morgan Uncensored” on Wednesday that the Legacy Media outlet deliberately softened Biden’s coverage of decline in order to avoid looking like a pro-trump.
“The only thing I can do is choke it is what you want to call it, this is what this is. I’m afraid that some members of the media sometimes had. “Yes? It was a kind of zero-sum game. And I think this was a fundamental mistake that a lot of members of the traditional press did.”
