Hunter Biden’s Rant and Future Aspirations
On Monday, Clay Travis, the founder of Outkick, spoke on Fox News about Hunter Biden’s recent outburst, suggesting it might reflect greater ambitions tied to a potential presidential run in 2028.
During a lengthy interview, Hunter Biden opened up about his struggles with cocaine and discussed his father’s use of Ambien ahead of the notorious Trump debates. He also made some provocative claims about prominent Democrats, including George Clooney and former Obama aides, suggesting they were trying to impede his father’s progress.
Travis, who appeared on “The Will Cain Show,” speculated that Hunter’s erratic behavior might not be as random as it seems. “What’s driving Hunter Biden? That’s a big question. Why share these outlandish thoughts in an interview?” he asked. He shared his theory that Hunter might be aiming for the presidency in 2028. “Not saying it’s a wise move, but it’s a thought,” he added.
Travis further elaborated that Hunter may believe he’s the key to the Biden family’s future. “It’s as if he thinks he’s meant to save the family,” he remarked. “His mind is foggy from drugs, and I bet he genuinely believes he could be president. That’s the only logical explanation for his behavior.” He also described Hunter’s actions as misguided and expressed a mix of hope and skepticism about his potential candidacy.
In his commentary, Travis was critical of the Biden administration, spotlighting its various shortcomings while refraining from directly comparing it with the actions of other Democrats. He expressed candid support for Clooney’s critiques, stating, “I believe George Clooney is spot-on, and Hunter is way off base. This administration has been the least successful during my lifetime.” He indicated that Joe Biden was unfit for the presidency, either physically or mentally, and praised Clooney for his honesty amidst what he perceived as cowardice from other Democratic leaders.
During his interview, Hunter used several expletives aimed at various Democratic figures, including Clooney and Jake Tupper, who recently published a book on the Biden administration’s scandals. Clooney has been notable for calling for Joe Biden to step down from his position.
A recent article in the Wall Street Journal discussed concerns about Biden’s cognitive decline as he campaigns for reelection in 2024. Despite drawing from various sources, the piece met considerable backlash from numerous media outlets and Democratic figures.
