CNN Talks To Swing State Voter To See How Democrats Will Fare In Upcoming Election; They Haven’t Changed Strategies

Wisconsin voter Eric Jones told CNN on Friday he hadn’t seen a change in the Democratic strategy weeks before the state’s extremely Supreme Court election.

With the Wisconsin Supreme Court election set for April 1, conservative Waukesha County Judge Brad Simel has closely inherited Dane County Judge Susan Crawford, a liberal opponent, from 48% to 43%. While talking to locals about the Democratic efforts in swing state, CNN’s John King saw him sitting with Jones at the barber shop.

Jones told the outlet a few months before the election last November that President Donald Trump was “running strongly among black men.” (Related: Left’s attempts to support disabled workers may be more harmful than good)

“Are you getting things from the Democrats you say? Do you see anything there?” the king asked.

“No, no, I don’t,” Jones said.

Just a month before the 2024 election, former vice president Kamala Harris’ campaign joined former President Barack Obama, amid reports of her decline in support among both black and Hispanic men. Obama was once a favorite among Democrats, but the former president faced several pushbacks after urging black men to vote for Harris.

King then mentioned the way Jones raised concerns about Musk’s involvement in race.

“Political campaigns are essentially information warfare, and wars require budgets. Men with the largest budget tend to win,” Jones said.

Political Action Committee founded by Musk, the American PAC, announcement X On Thursday, Wisconsin can sign a petition against a “activist judge” to register voters, rewarding $100 for each signer they refer to.

“Judges should interpret the law as written and should not be rewritten to fit a personal or political agenda,” Flyer said. “By signing below, I reject the action of an activist judge who imposes my views and demand a judiciary that respects his role.

“Evenly balanced courts, abortion rights, drawing maps, voting rights, big issues. Do people care?” asked the king.

“No, I don’t think so,” Jones said. “The reason I say this now is because I asked quite a few people about it. It’s a bad thing that you don’t know the candidate.”

According to Reuters’ 2024 election exit Opinion surveyHarris won 77% of the votes for black men, and Trump subtracted 21%, an increase of 2% from 2020. Furthermore, among Hispanic men, Trump led Harris from 54% to 44%, earning 18 points since 2020.
