CNN’s Former In-House Potato Says Biden Is ‘Stuck In The Past’

Is there anyone more obnoxious than Brian Stelter?

Once CNN's golden boy, Stelter claimed the title of “trusted source” for years while waging a vicious and dishonest propaganda war against all of the administration's enemies. But his bald head was too much for the newsroom, and CNN's in-house potato was forced to find a new master.

Since then, like Gollum, he has mostly remained in the shadows, but on Monday night he emerged from his cave to attack the Biden campaign with a laughable fact-check.

The Biden-Harris HQ Twitter account used a clip of Stelter taken out of context to criticize Trump's dire “forward-looking plan” for 2025.

No need to rush, Stelter. Responded“I said the criticism now being leveled at Biden is that he's stuck in the past and talking about past accomplishments.”

Well, isn't that true? All Biden has to offer the American people is nostalgia for a country that no longer exists. He brags about his economic achievements and how he saved democracy from Trump, even as he pumped trillions of inflationary dollars into the economy and weaponized the justice system against his political opponents. But even if we take these as achievements, there is little indication of what comes next. More of the same? Biden claims to be Captain Unity and the voice of the working class, but his policies eviscerate the ideals for which he peddles nostalgia.

Meanwhile, Trump has actually offered a “plan for the future”: close the borders, deport millions, bring back American industry, cut taxes and regulations, and eliminate the most left-wing elements of education and bureaucracy that are poisoning society.

While Stelter certainly doesn't agree with Trump's vision, he also doesn't seem to be a fan of Biden anymore — it would have been unthinkable even two weeks ago for a loyal administration official to openly contradict the Biden campaign — and now, at last, he's provided the American people with “credible” information.
