Cochise County Attorney arrested for suspected DUI | News

Sierra Vista, Arizona (KVOA) – Cochise County Attorney arrested for DUI.

Cochise County Attorney Brian McIntyre was arrested without incident at 2:24 a.m. on suspicion of DUI by Sierra Vista police, according to officers.

Police said traffic was stopped at Block 2200 on Oakmont Drive where McIntyre was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was taken to the SVPD where a breath test was completed.

McIntyre’s blood alcohol content was 0.210. More than double his legal limit of 0.08, he turned himself in for the criminal offense of extreme DUI and was released in court amid an ongoing investigation.

“For 18 years, I have done my best to make sure my choices have consequences,” says McIntyre. “My choice will also be affected, and the matter will be handled by an outside prosecutor’s office, and possibly an out-of-county judge.”

“No one is above the law, including me,” he said.
