COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN) — The application deadline for Section 8 home purchase vouchers in Cochise County has been extended from the original February 23rd to March 1st.
of The waiting list was opened at the beginning of the month The Housing Authority of Cochise County (HACC) closed the facility after more than four years, saying it received more applications than it could accommodate at the time.
The vouchers are funded by the federal government through the U.S. Department of Urban Development and are used to provide affordable housing to low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities.
All applications must be submitted by 5pm on March 1st and can be submitted in one of the following ways:
