The Superior Court is working with several organizations to provide services from 10am to 3pm local time, Friday, March 21st, at Navajo Nation District Court, Tuba City, 240 S. Main St., Tuba City, Arizona, from 10am to 3pm local time. The event will provide services in Tuba City residents and nearby areas without the need to travel to Flagstaff.
The Coconino County Election Bureau, Recorder Office, and the Department of Health and Human Services (CCHHS) are participating in the Victim Witness Services (VWS) of Northern Arizona.
Coconino County Superior Court will provide walk-in services starting at 10am and hold public hearings. The court may assist in abolishing unpaid warrants, applying for a marriage license or passport, submitting documents, reviewing court records, and paying unpaid superior court fines or fees. Please note that payments must be made by cash, currency or cashier check.
The Coconino County Attorney’s Office has an application to sweep your marijuana conviction.
VWS provides intake and provides information about services available to victims of crime.
“The Coconino Superior Court and the Criminal Justice Coordination Council are pleased to increase access to justice with a judicial bus event in Tuba City on March 21.” “The event allows people to participate in certain types of hearings and provide the necessary Superior Court services without having to travel to Flagstaff. CCHHS, VWS and the County Elections Bureau are also on-site to provide additional information and support.”
CCHHS staff will be available from 10am to 3pm, with Coconino County residents providing information and application assistance to programs and services such as rent payment assistance, utility assistance assistance, and Narcan. This is a quick treatment of the effects of opioid overdose.
During Coconino County elections, staff will provide information on voting, election equipment, and how elections are managed in the county. The County Recorder office has voter registration materials and staff to answer questions about this process.
