PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monaghan said on Tuesday at TPC Sawgrass that President Donald J. Trump played the “facilitator” in the ongoing negotiations between PGA and LIV Golf.
when June 6th It’s been two years since we came here and it was announced that PGA and LIV were talking about some kind of agreement to merge. However, even with that being said, the lecture has been suspended for a while.

In February, the PGA told Trump:[getting] I’m involved for the benefit of the game,” he said, apparently there has been some progress since he stepped into the photo.
“These talks are authentic. They are substantial and driven at the top level of both organizations. These talks are greatly strengthened by President Trump’s willingness to work as a facilitator,” Monaghan said Tuesday.
“President Trump is a lifelong golf fan. He believes heavily in the power and potential of the game, and his time and influence is very generous and he was able to help him tie up the deal. He wants to see the game being reintegrated. We want to see the game being reintegrated, and his involvement has made the prospect of unity very realistic.”
