Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his running mate, Republican Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio, began a week of rivalry programming in battleground states on Monday, as the Democratic National Convention (DNC) got underway.
Trump spoke about the economy and energy at around 5 p.m. during a campaign event at the Precision Components Group in York, Pennsylvania. The Trump campaign has a theme for each day of the week, and Monday's theme was “Make America Prosperous Again.” According to To Spectrum News NY1.

“Biden and Harris have impoverished our country, but they've gotten rich at your expense,” Trump said, citing Fox News reporter Brooke Singman. Vance also visited the Keystone State at 1 p.m., eating cheesesteaks and signing autographs at Pat's King of Steaks in Philadelphia. According to To CBS News.

Trump spoke in an interview with CBS News. Interview Trump made the remarks after speaking in York. On Tuesday, Trump will host a “Make America Safe Again” event in Detroit, Michigan, while Vance will host an event in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Spectrum News NY1 reports that the two men will hold a joint event in Asheboro, North Carolina on Wednesday to deliver their “Make America Strong Again” message.
On Thursday, Trump will campaign in Monetesma Pass, Arizona, to deliver his “Make America Safe Again” message, while Vance will host an event in Valdosta, Georgia. On Friday, Trump is scheduled to hold a “Make America Great Again” event in Glendale, Arizona, according to the outlet.
Harris is currently leading Trump by 1% in Wisconsin and 2% in Michigan, while Trump is leading by 0.2% in Pennsylvania, 0.2% in Arizona, 1% in Georgia, 1.2% in Arizona and 1.3% in Nevada. Real Clear Politics Average show.
