Police are searching for three children over suspicion that an electric shopping cart caused havoc at a Pigley Wigley store in Wisconsin.
The suspects, whose identities are currently unknown, are said to have started the assault by knocking products off store shelves with electric shopping carts. according to Facebook post by Racine Police Department.
One of the shopping carts struck “an elderly woman in line at the register,” the post continued.
Members of the trio then allegedly punched the store manager in the face, according to the Racine Police Department.
Sergeant Christy Wilcox Said FOX 6, who allegedly attacked the store manager, “hit him with the tip of his finger,” but it didn’t amount to a “complete slap.”
According to Fox 6, shopper Michelle Siemon condemned the “horrible” assault and stressed the importance of electric shopping carts “for people who need them.”
“Going to the grocery store should be a relief,” Kelly Quiros told the magazine after the “ridiculous” incident.

The trio, two women and a man aged between 12 and 17, reportedly fled Pigley Wigley on foot, according to Racine police.
