Prescott, Arizona (3TV/CBS 5) — It was a happy ending for the missing couple and their dog in Yavapai County.the lawmaker said Mike and Catherine Pena and their dog Daphne were found safe in a truck on Thursday. Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office The pair set out on Tuesday for a drive to Palace Station, about 17 miles south of Prescott. Mr. and Mrs. Pena stayed in the truck to save fuel and get food and water.
YCSO and public security bureau A search and rescue team, including 20 volunteers, was teamed up to locate the family. I said yes. Once they were spotted, a DPS helicopter flew Mike and Katherine to safety while volunteers ejected Daphne the dachshund. Law enforcement wants to emphasize that Pena did everything right by bringing the supplies and clothing she needed for her adventure, just in case something went wrong.
