CNN's Dana Bash argued Monday that the anti-Trump social media posts of Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspected assassin of former President Donald Trump, have nothing to do with Vice President Kamala Harris or President Joe Biden.

President Biden also spoke to reporters today on the way to the helicopter and said he was very pleased that the Secret Service was able to do their job and that he was very pleased that former President Trump was not injured,” Bash said. “Kamala Harris has said the same thing. Everything is politicized in this situation, so it's not surprising that he said that.”
“Again, there is absolutely no evidence that they were behind this. All we know about this man is that he was in his mid-to-late 50s, was looking for a way to go to the front line in Ukraine, and he was clearly posting anti-Trump ideology,” she continued. “But that has nothing to do with Kamala Harris or Joe Biden.
