DAVID BLACKMON: This Might Be The Biggest Stain On Biden Admin’s Legacy

Last week, news broke that the Biden Energy Agency (DOE), led by former secretary Jennifer Granholm, was extremely devoted to the Biden White House efforts to undermine the dynamic US LNG export industry, relying on covering research in the 2023 DOE, which found that export growth provided net profits to the environment and the economy.

“The Energy Bureau learned that Granholm’s former secretary and the Biden White House intentionally filled a lot of data and published a distorted study to trust the benefits of American LNG,” a DOE source told Nick Pope of the Daily Callenor News Foundation.[T]He has pushed forward an agenda that deliberately deceives the American people and harms America’s energy security, the environment and American life. ” (Related: David Blackmon: Al Gore will finally speak out the truth about climate change)

And “deceived” is the perfect word to describe what happened here. When the White House issued an order signed by the administration’s extremely busy autopen to invoke what appears to be a temporary “suspension” in permitting LNG infrastructure, it was made at the request of Climate Climate Emperor John Podesta on the left, along with the full buy-in of Granholm. As I catalogued in past stories here, this cynical “pause” was based on as much evidence as possible, and the “science” that appears to be at its roots was easily exposed and completely fell apart over time.

However, the scheme has moved forward anyway. Granholm and her DOE staff have ordered that they conduct their own research relating to the validity that will allow for further growth of the country’s LNG industry. We now know that research already existed, but we have not reached the expected conclusion.

Two unfounded fears at hand were concerns that an increase in US LNG exports would a) increase consumer domestic prices and b) produce higher emissions than alternative energy sources. As Wall Street Journal Notesits 2023 draft study showed that “increased US LNG exports will have a negligible impact on domestic prices while slightly reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.

Energy secretaries and climate advisors interested in finding truth based on science have revealed that the 2023 study was published and the “pause” would have been short-lived and temporary. Instead, Biden officials decide to try and fill this inconvenient truth, and the “suspension” can be endured until the last day of the Biden administration with the explicit intention of turning it into permanent policy if Kamala Harris and her “Summer Joy” campaign can win on November 5th.

Fortunately, voters have made a more wise choice for the country, with President Trump including ending this deceptive “suspension” exercise as part of his first day agenda. Autopen is not involved.

So, this is now resolved in favor of truth and common sense, but it is important to understand exactly what is at stake here. How important is the industry these Biden officials are trying to freeze?

in Interview with Fox News On Monday, current Energy Secretary Chris Wright did exactly that, pointing out that 15 years ago, the United States was “the world’s largest importer of natural gas. Today we are the largest exporter.

He continued, “The Biden administration suspended LNG exports 14 months ago in January 2024, sending a message that perhaps the US may not continue to increase our exports. Think of the extra leverage given to Russia, the extra fear that gives Asians who die for Europeans or American energy.”

After that, Wright provided a kicker. “They did this despite their own research showing that an increase in LNG exports reduces greenhouse gas emissions and has a negligible impact on prices,” Wright concludes that it was an effort to kill what he says is “the biggest energy advantage in America.”

The incident is a stain on the Biden administration and its senior leaders. When asked by speaker Mike Johnson why he signed the order, we remember that the dirt would become even less likely to disappear. Joe Biden himself had no recollection of doing soto Johnson, “I didn’t do that.”

Sadly, we know that Biden is likely to be telling the truth to the speakers now. But someone did it, and it’s a tragedy.
