“They were talking about the weather,” said Goldman. Said At one point during a press conference. “He explained it over and over. They asked over and over and he explained what the weather was like and what was happening at your end. He very consistently stated that none of those conversations had anything to do with business dealings or dealings.”

Goldman also defended Joe Biden on another occasion.

clock:

“He never said he never spoke to anyone. He said he had nothing to do with Hunter Biden’s business dealings,” Goldman said at a press conference. “If my son greets people with him, should he say, ‘Hey son, I’m not going to greet other people at the table or on the phone’? It’s kind of an absurd premise to think that a father shouldn’t say hello to the people his son is having dinner with… Literally, that’s all the proof that you shouldn’t think.”

Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to all charges after federal district judge Marielen Noreika rejected both the original plea bargain and a more limited amendment Wednesday, and the plea deal collapsed.
