Pinal County, Arizona — A man is on the run after being determined to be the prime suspect in his wife’s death. Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Said.
A man identified as Ismael Ortega Hernandez, 31, allegedly shot and killed his wife Julieta Marin Amador late Monday night at a house near the intersection of Padilla and Maricopa roads. Hernandez fled his home on foot, and lawmakers recovered his cell phone in the area.
Lawmakers consider Hernandez armed and dangerous. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall, had a slim build, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.
Anyone with information regarding Hernandez’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office directly.
