Cottonwood, Arizona (Az Family) – This week there is a search for an armed suspect accused of shooting a car with children in northern Arizona.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said it was reported that 19-year-old Alejandro Pereza Pasos had shot another Cottonwood vehicle around 4pm on Wednesday.
YCSO said the driver reported that he was shot by Pereza Pasos. YCSO did not specify how many children there were in the car shot, or how old they were. The sheriff’s office said Pereza Pasos and the driver who was shot and killed know each other.
SWAT lawmakers were able to obtain a search warrant to search for Pereza Pasos, but they did not find him.
Pereza-Pasos is currently on a large scale. YCSO seeks national assistance in finding him and they say he knows he is frequently known to Cottonwood, Clarkdale and Sedona.
Anyone with information to help find Pereza Pasos should remain anonymous by calling the sheriff’s office at 928-771-3260 or by calling the silent witness at 800-932-3232. You are eligible for cash rewards that will lead to arrest.
