“Have you ever noticed that Mr. Zlochevsky paid two different Bidens $5 million?” Archer was asked, according to one source. newly released transcript of his testimony.

“Maybe he’s talking about me and the hunters, I don’t know. But I don’t know anything about the five,” Archer replied. Zlochevsky brought Archer and Hunter Biden onto Burisma’s board of directors in 2014, and the company reportedly paid Hunter $80,000 a month.

Archer was also asked whether he believed the FBI’s FD-1023 form allegations were credible.

“I think it is — the agent explains very well at the bottom. And it’s like, you know, Hunter Biden taking credit for his father’s visit. Like sending a signal. It’s something,” said Archer.

Archer testified that he had no knowledge of the $5 million bribe listed in the FBI documents, and said the allegations were not proof that Joe Biden took the bribe. But he agreed with the document’s description of how oligarchs like Zlochevsky boast about paying bribes, often exaggerating their size.

“Yes, yes. And in Ukraine, in Russia, they boast about the amount, and they boast of bribes larger than they actually give,” Archer said. (Related: Hunter Biden warns Devon Archer of possible FARA violations just before taking Burisma board seat, email shows)

Archer also confirmed that Burisma plans to expand into the US by doing business with US companies. The Confidential Source (CHS) behind the FD-1023 form said it first met with Burisma executives in late 2015 or early 2016 to discuss the expansion.

“So what I brought in was the first, first initiative. It was around me that we raised additional external capital, possibly debt capital expansion financing from the European, Western, Singaporean, and US markets. I think the first idea was to expand into the US by a small US company,” Archer testified.

The anonymous CHS was introduced to Zlochevsky by Ukrainian official Oleksandr Ostapenko at a meeting with Burisma executives in Vienna, Austria, in 2016, according to the FD-1023 form. The source said he first met with Ostapenko in Kiev, Ukraine, in late 2015 or early 2016 to help Burisma with its U.S. expansion and initial public offering (IPO) attempt, the form claims.

CHS was informed at its first meeting that Hunter Biden had a seat on the Burisma board, where he said he had been hired “to protect us through our fathers from all sorts of problems.” This allegation was echoed by Archer when he testified. The “brand” of the Biden family has made Burisma “hard to touch”.

According to FBI documents, Zlochevsky and sources in Austria were discussing Burisma’s expansion plans, and Zlochevsky said, “5 (million) to pay one Biden, 5 to another Biden. (million),” he said.

Mr. Zlochevsky told officials in a phone call after the 2016 presidential election that he was “forced to pay” the Bidens, and there were “17 recordings” involving the Bidens, two of which were It claimed that Joe Biden was in the cast. According to FBI forms, CHS did not speak to Zlochevsky again until Mr. Ostapenko called the Ukrainian in the middle of a meeting with CHS in London. Zlochevsky told sources he had covered up the alleged payments to the Bidens and that it would take investigators 10 years to find the records, the filing shows.

“Mr. Zlochevsky replied that he does not send money directly to the ‘big guys’ (CHS understands it to be a reference to Joe Biden). Zlochevsky said it would take[investigators]10 years to find the records (i.e. illegal payments to Joe Biden).” is written on the form.

CHS said self-promotion was common in post-Soviet oligarchies and that bribing government officials was typical of Russian and Ukrainian companies.

“CHS explained that it is very common for businessmen in former Soviet countries to show off and show off. Furthermore, it is not uncommon for Russian and Ukrainian companies to pay ‘bribes’ to various government officials. It is very common,” the form states.

“Therefore, given the pervasive need to bribe government officials in Ukraine and Russia, the CHS does not consider Poyarsky and Zlochevsky’s statements to be unusual, selfish or pretentious. Moreover, secret recordings of important business meetings are also common in Ukraine and Russia,” the form adds.

Archer reported more than 20 instances of Joe Biden attending meetings with his son’s business people to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer. said in a statement. Archer specifically mentions the 2014 spring dinner that Joe Biden had with Russian oligarchs and the 2015 dinner that then-Vice President Biden attended with Pozharsky and other guests. Mentioned.
