Harry Sisson, a pro-Biden social media influencer, told CNN on Tuesday that there is a new “excitement” around presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris that “we haven't felt since 2020.”
Sisson appeared on “Erin Burnett Outfront” to talk about his support for Harris as his party's nominee following President Joe Biden's decision to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. The CNN host began by asking Sisson what he thought of Harris' first campaign bid, noting that she has been one of Biden's “most vocal supporters online.” (RELATED: Rep. “I feel like there's this infusion of energy in the Democratic Party. There's an excitement that I haven't felt since 2020. I think people are really supporting Kamala Harris. She's more aligned with the younger generation,” Sisson said. “Her policies are supported by the younger generation and people are really feeling her candidacy. And as you mentioned earlier, the rally. The crowd that was there was just crazy and enthusiastic. [and] It's very exciting. We're seeing it in person and we're seeing it online.”

Sisson, who has 1.1 million followers on TikTok, has been a staunch supporter of Biden and his reelection over the past year. Sisson began working with Palette's management in October 2022, and public records show that the management received $200,000 in paid media from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) that same month.
Despite Biden's poor debate performance sparking backlash against the president and concerns from other Democrats in the party, Sisson remained firmly by Biden's side. In a post-debate interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, the social media influencer sought to expose former President Donald Trump's “lies,” but was quickly criticized by Morgan for his loyalty to the president.
Since Biden dropped out of the presidential race on Sunday and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, she has received a wave of endorsements from members of her own party. Harris announced Tuesday that she had garnered the support of more than 3,000 delegates at the Democratic National Convention, enough support to become the party's presumptive nominee, according to the Associated Press.
