The Department of Justice (DOJ) released phase one of the “Epstein Files” to a group of conservative influencers on Thursday, and the document reportedly contains little revelation.
The release is over 100 pages and includes a list of contacts. New York Post. The first release does not include a client list, sources said.
The first release will be “disappointing” for those awaiting evidence of the connection between convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and a well-known individual, sources told the outlet.

Other individuals who have obtained a copy of the file Jack Posobiek, DC draneo, Sernovich, Chad Plazer and Liz Wheeler, according to images circulating online.
Wheeler, host of the Liz Wheeler Show, tweeted a screenshot of a letter from Attorney General Pam Bondi to FBI Director Kash Patel.
“Late yesterday, I learned that the FBI Field Office in New York owns thousands of pages of documents relating to Epstein’s investigation and prosecution,” wrote Bondy. “Despite my repeated requests, the FBI never revealed the existence of these files.”

Journalist Savanna Hernandez said the Trump administration originally intended to release the document at a press conference on Thursday, but this is untested.
“Bondi states that some of the information has already been made public and that actual ‘smoking gun’ documents have been withheld by the FBI,” Hernandez tweeted. (Related: Jeffrey Epstein’s brother doesn’t think he’s going to commit suicide)
There is also an Epstein Files binder, but I want to modify the record.

However, criticism has spread online over the decision to release the binder to individual groups of selected groups, with some people denounce it as “photo manipulation.”
“Don’t get me wrong, I like most of the photos,” said Tony Kinnett of Daily Signal. “I have a few friends.”
“Releasing a file like this, is it a bit of a photo op? It’s frizzy. It’s childish,” he continued. “There’s absolutely no way we’ll release a list of sex abusers. This should be a quick online post via DOJ. Presto. Finished.”

Epstein was arrested in 2019, and his ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, was arrested in July 2020.
Documents obtained by the New York Times revealed that the FBI interviewed two victims who accused Epstein and Maxwell of sexual abuse in 2006.
In January 2024, court documents were released containing the names of more than 150 Epstein’s associates. According to documents, former President Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew of England were among the names listed.
