Yuma, Arizona (AZFamily) — The infamous rock is destroying cars one by one in the busy parking lot of a Wendy's in Yuma's Fortuna Foothills.
The medium-sized rocks decorate the curb and are the talk of the town.
Many cars were left stranded, and dozens of photos shared on Facebook showed drivers in bizarre situations.
“I think it's kind of ridiculous. You have to go over the curb and keep going to hit the rock. I don't know how that's possible,” said Josuha, who lives in Yuma.
It is also a popular tourist destination. 5 star rating on Google Maps.
“Some people say they came back from out of town to see the national historic site,” Wendy's employee Anthony Delgado said.
Whether it's distracted drivers or people rushing to get their hands on a dollar Frosty, Delgado has seen it all.
“I've seen radiators completely ripped off or knocked off. Some mornings I've come to work and there's pieces of the car lying around and I've had to clean it up,” Delgado said.
Delgado said he has seen truck and jeep drivers seeing the rock as a challenge and attempting to scale it.
He said the rocks have definitely brought in new customers.
“Buy a Double Stack and a Frosty, take some pictures and enjoy them while you still have them, because they might be gone,” Delgado said.
