PHOENIX, May 06, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Earnhardt Auto Centers has awarded a 2020 Honda Odyssey Passenger Van to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Cadets Program. This vehicle supports the transportation needs of small groups for the cadet training program.

This gift recognizes the important role law enforcement plays in Phoenix. It also represents the deep roots of the Arnhardt family and locally owned, family-owned business rooted in Arizona.

“Sheriff Paul Penzone and his officers shared with us a need for intermittent transportation assistance to and from training and other essential activities.” Their request was for temporary assistance. But we knew we needed to do more.

EAC leadership has decided to provide a passenger van for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office cadet program. This will improve our ability to provide specialized law enforcement training and reinforcement activities to new recruits.

The gift of a new passenger car was a logical move. Earnhardt Auto Centers is your local resource for new and used vehicles. For over 70 years, Arizona people have relied on Earnhardt for their vehicle needs.

The 2020 Honda Odyssey Van can accommodate up to 8 passengers. The front-wheel drive and compact dimensions make it unwieldy for the driver. The interior is designed to offer maximum space to the occupants. Additional gear can be stowed in the rear cargo area.

“We were delighted to have MCSO officers educate us on how best we could help them accomplish their mission. The Earnhardts are proud to support local law enforcement.”

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office oversees 9,224 square miles. This region is larger than her four states in the United States. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office’s Cadet Program prepares recruits for the 3,500-strong sheriff’s staff.

“The Earnhardt family has always served the community,” said Sheriff Paul Penzone. “This selfless and generous contribution provides a much-needed resource for our cadet program.”
