in the meantime roddenberry is primarily used to educate El Paso students about the wonders of the universe, but also offers the public the opportunity to visit the facility.
This summer is one of those times when the planetarium offers free summer shows open to the public in June and July.

Public shows are free, but tickets are required to attend and most are available online. Only 10 tickets will be available at the ticket booth on the day of the show and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Why do I have to complete a survey to participate?
Among the instructions you receive when you request tickets online, you will be asked to complete an anonymous survey that includes questions such as your gender identity, ethnicity and household income.
The site says it needs this information because Roddenberry is funded by a grant and is required to report survey questions to comply.
