Coconino County Manager Andy Bertelsen has appointed Eric Peterson as assistant county manager following Kim Musselman’s announcement of retirement. Peterson will begin his duties on July 1st.
Peterson recently served as assistant city manager/administrator for finance and management for the city of Webster Groves, Missouri. He has been in that role since May 2021 and resigned on November 21, 2024. Prior to that, I worked in Milwaukee County and Wisconsin.
“We look forward to returning to Coconino County to serve the amazing people of our county and cultivate a more robust and responsive government with the dedicated leadership of our county government,” Peterson said. “I would like to thank the once-in-a-lifetime Arizona Board of Supervisors and my friend, county manager Bertelsen, my friend. I look forward to seeing the county team grow in their ability, innovation, resilience and success, looking to see the county’s vision and surviving new mission statements.”
Peterson will join the county executive team Bertelsen and Deputy County Manager Erica Philpott.
