The 2024 season has started out absolutely awful for the Carolina Panthers, which has resulted in the team making the move to change their starting quarterback from the former No. 1 overall pick. Bryce Young NFL veteran Andy Dalton.
Young has passed for 245 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions in two games this season.

On paper, Houston appears to have acquired the better quarterback, but if you ask ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr., he actually bears 100% of the blame for Young's struggles against the Panthers.
Appearing on “Get Up” on Tuesday, Kiper gave a fantastic rant about Young being benched, and my friend slammed it!
“I think it's fair to say that when they drafted Bryce Young, they mishandled him because they knew he was an exception,” Kiper fumed. “Russell Wilson was bigger. He was taller, but he was 5'10″ and 3/4″ tall. That gave a 5'10″ quarterback a chance. But Russell Wilson was 205. [pounds]You get 208. Not 180.”
