A Philadelphia woman was captured on video shooting and killing her 7-month-old baby on Thursday, Philadelphia Police announced in a press release.

The video shows the gunman walking past the mother and baby, then suddenly turning and shooting the baby in the leg at close range. When the mother cries out for the baby, the gunman replies, “Fuck your baby, bitch,” and leaves the scene.

The child's father chased the woman, who then fired shots at her father, the New York Post reported. reportNeighbors intervened and took the injured baby to hospital, where he is currently reported to be in stable condition. “It appears the perpetrator was firing shots in the direction of the mother and father,” Chief Inspector Small told Fox 29. report.
The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a stocky-built black woman with long dreadlocks, last seen wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The attack happened at approximately 5:50 p.m. according to to the Philadelphia Police Department. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact police at 215-686-TIPS.
