FACT CHECK: Daily Beast Claims Josh Hawley Is Catholic

The Daily Beast reported that Hawley is a “devout, Bible-believing Catholic” who “has repeatedly asserted his Christian nationalist bona fides at conservative conferences.”

After being contacted by Check Your Fact, The Daily Beast removed the claim and attached an editor's note to the article, which read, “Editor's note: This article previously referred to Josh Hawley as a Catholic. He is an Evangelical Presbyterian.”
