A post shared on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, said that CNN reported that Apalachee High School shooter Colt Gray claimed the attack was motivated by a “lack of transgender acceptance.” The post shared a photo of Gray and one of two girls at the vigil.

“Apparently Colt Gray screwed up his school for 'lack of transgender acceptance' – CNN,” the post read. “He was a member of the LGBTQ community. How long will it be before public schools are held accountable for the chaos they created?”
