According to reports, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito issued an order suspending Texas' strict immigration law, SB4, at the request of the Biden administration. ABC News. The measure will remain in effect until 5 p.m. ET on March 13 to give the judge time to decide how to proceed, the report said.

Facebook screenshots purportedly show Greene's posts suggesting a government shutdown due to the situation at the border. The image appears to show her X post from a verified account titled “Marjorie Taylor Greene Press R…”, but the rest has been cropped for length.

“Matt Gates and I support shutting down the government until we secure our borders,” it reads. “What about you?” includes a photo of Green and Gates walking side by side.

“Of course they don't care,” the Facebook caption reads. “They are still getting paid even during the shutdown (lol).”
