Fact check:

McConnell recently fell and sprained his wrist and suffered cuts that may have been caused in part by childhood polio, news outlets said. AP News. His office announced Thursday that he will be working from home for the fall, the newspaper reported.

X-videos have reportedly shown McConnell giving speeches since this fall with a white bandage on his head. When a reporter asked him, “Is your head okay after that fall?” he paused. He then remains silent for a few seconds.

“Well… Mitch has totally checked out,” the caption reads.

However, this video has been digitally altered. The original video was uploaded by YouTube It has been revealed that he is not depicted wearing bandages, and that the questions asked by reporters have also been edited.

There is a faint watermark in the lower right corner that says “ildonaldo.com”. Patreon A page titled “Il Donald Trumpo”. This name matches the parody name account This account of X Posted The video was posted on X on December 10th with the caption “Who did this?” and received 16,000 likes.
