Famous Rapper’s Attorney Rips DOJ For Letting Hunter Biden Walk On Same Crime His Client Spent Years In Jail For

A lawyer for rapper Kodak Black on Tuesday accused the Justice Department of a plea bargain he struck with Hunter Biden and questioned whether there is a “two-level justice system” in America’s justice system.

Black was sentenced to more than three years in prison for illegal firearm possession in 2019, and the young Biden also agreed to a plea deal Tuesday on the same charges, Fox News reported. report. The Justice Department announced that Biden would be placed in a pretrial diversion program on firearms charges, but U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who was appointed by then-President Donald Trump in 2017, said the investigation was still ongoing. Black’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, said in an interview with Fox News, “There is no way you can get a gun charge without jail time for any type of gun charge.”Former President Donald Trump pardoned Black because he was scheduled to retire in January 2021.

Republicans in Congress, Republican candidates for the 2024 presidential election, and legal experts all criticized the plea bargain.

Cohen also took to social media to criticize Biden’s plea deal, which included two misdemeanor counts related to delinquent income taxes.

“Two layers of justice? Kodak was also charged with the same charges. It’s been over three years,” Cohen said in an Instagram comment, reported Fox News. “Mr. Biden won’t serve a day. Am I right? Are FBI agents and federal officials handling cases personally?”
