Jane's Addiction has canceled their remaining tour dates after band members Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro got into an onstage physical altercation during a show in Boston on September 13.
Fans were shocked by the shocking moment onstage when the band's lead singer, Pharrell, punched the guitarist in front of the crowd. The alternative rock band suddenly canceled the show, then apologized to fans and announced the news that they were canceling all remaining tour dates.
“Dear fans, the band has made the difficult decision to take some time off as a group,” they said in a statement from X. “As such, we are cancelling the remainder of our tour.”

Fans were instructed to return to their point of purchase to process a refund.
Navarro also posted a statement on social media about the cancellation.
“Due to lead singer Perry Farrell's continuing pattern of behavior and mental health issues, we have concluded that we have no choice but to cancel our current U.S. tour,” he wrote.
“Concerns for his own health and safety and our own health and safety left him with no other choice,” he said. “We hope he finds the help he needs.”
Navarro said he regrets not being able to keep the band's promises to its fans.

“We deeply regret any disappointment to our fans who have already purchased tickets. We do not see a solution that will ensure a safe environment onstage and consistently deliver an amazing performance night after night,” he wrote.
During the tense on-stage confrontation, other people can be heard moving in to try to break up the fight, telling Farrell to “stop,” and can also be seen trying to push Farrell back and stop him from attacking Navarro any further.
