Support for April Weaver in Alabama Senate District 14

Senator April Weaver has received support from the Alabama Farmers Federation for her reelection bid in Alabama Senate District 14, which encompasses parts of Bibb, Chilton, and Shelby counties.

John DeLoch, chairman of the Shelby County Farmers Federation, remarked, “April Weaver is easy to work with; she really grasps the needs of the farmers and constituents in her district. She has worked so hard to represent us well.”

Weaver, who has a background in nursing and holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business administration, carries over two decades of experience in hospital management. She also spent ten years in the Alabama House of Representatives, notably as the first female to chair the House Health Committee. After her time in the legislature, Weaver was appointed as Regional IV Director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services by President Donald Trump.

“It’s always an honor to gain support from any organization, especially the Alabama Farmers Federation,” Weaver stated. “We share a similar work ethic and conservative values that resonate with the 14th district, and I look forward to continuing my efforts to represent the district with steadfast commitment.”

Support for Weaver has been strong from local Farmers Federation leaders within District 14.

“April Weaver is one of us,” said Jeff James, president of the Bibb County Farmers Federation. “She works hard and understands the needs of people in Bibb County. She’s always represented us well in Montgomery.”

Lynne Harrison, president of the Chilton County Farmers Federation, added, “April Weaver is a conservative conservative. She ensures that the needs of our farmers and Chilton County are prioritized in Montgomery. We are grateful for her representation.”

The Alabama Farmers Federation is the largest agricultural organization in the state, boasting over 365,000 members. They endorse candidates in local elections through the County Farmers Federation’s board of directors in conjunction with the Alabama Farm Pack.
