The Valley is changing as the Final Four square off in the Valley. Four 13-foot saguaro cactus sculptures shaped like basketball hoops are currently on display to honor indigenous communities and promote basketball championships in the Valley.
The final four statues honoring Arizona were designed by local artists.

- The March Madness Music Festival has a star-studded lineup of artists, and the best part is that it’s completely free. ZEDD, Jonas Brothers, Mumford & Sons and The Black Keys will headline the festival, which runs from April 5th to 7th. Click here for more information.

- Fans of all ages can enjoy an event-packed weekend at the Men’s Final Four Fan Fest. The Phoenix Convention Center (100 N 3rd St) will be filled with interactive games, special celebrity and athlete appearances, autograph sessions, and more.
- Special guests appearing throughout the weekend include Arizona State basketball star Caleb Love, legendary former North Carolina coach Roy Williams, Gonzaga head coach Mark Few, television personality and former player Grant Hill, They include Oregon State head coach Dana Altman, among others.

On April 8, Americans will get a glimpse of a total solar eclipse covering parts of the country. That same day, Arizonans will get a glimpse of the future in a northeast Valley community.
“This is not a Fountain Hills attraction,” said Joe Bill of the International Dark Sky Discovery Center. “This is an international tourist attraction in Fountain Hills. It took us nine years to get here. The first three years were dedicated to designating Fountain Hills as an International Dark Sky Community.”
