Ahead of the November 7, 2023 election, each Flagstaff household with registered voters will receive an informational pamphlet outlining the pros and cons of the proposed local impact questions.

This pamphlet will include arguments for and against proposed amendments to the City of Flagstaff Charter, as well as arguments for and against potential Referendum 01-2023 related to Ordinance 2023-11. If the referendum is rejected for any reason in qualifying to vote, no discussion of the referendum will appear in the publicity brochure. Those interested in submitting counterarguments must do so by 5:00 p.m. Arizona time on August 9, 2023.

The text of the questions to be considered in the election is available at the City Office at 211 West Aspen Avenue, Flagstaff, Arizona 86001 and on the City’s website at 86001. https://www.flagstaff.az.gov/2105/election.

Each plea submitted must not exceed 300 words and must include a sworn statement of each person hosting the plea. If the argument is submitted by an organization, it shall include the affidavits of two executive officers of that organization and, if submitted by a political committee, the affidavit of the chairman or treasurer of the committee. and

Those signing the plea must identify themselves by providing a residential address and phone number, but the city and state of residence will not appear on the pamphlet unless . Arguments submitted that do not meet the above requirements may not be published in the brochure.
