A flood warning was issued for parts of Coconino and Yavapai counties until 4:45 p.m.

Persistent rain is possible in central and west Phoenix in northern Maricopa County until 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
8:35 PM: As the outflow rapidly moves southwestward, an existing MCV (meso-scale convective vortex) is re-emerging in northern Maricopa County (this event occurred in Mexico last night).
