Tar began studying at Cornell University in 2022 on an F-1 student visa. In March, he sued the Trump administration and tried to stop two executive orders signed by President Donald Trump.
The State Department then revoked the student’s visa and DHS, and the DHS asked him to submit himself. In a March statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation on Taal’s legal challenge, the Justice Department said “we are fighting in court to vehemently defend President Trump’s agenda, especially when it comes to protecting Jews.”
Thar has repeatedly declared his hatred of the United States on social media over the years, celebrating the massacre of Israeli civilians by Hamas terrorists.
“The end of the US Empire in Shah Allah’s life,” he Posted Online in February 2022. Just a few months later, he — although seemingly contradictory, celebrated his acceptance at American universities. write “A student visa has been issued. We’re going to American babies! Alham Durillah! Let’s get this doctorate,” Tar once again expressed his light empty against the US, Posts “My hatred of the US Empire doesn’t know about the November 2022 Warahi.”
Tar rejoiced online the day Hamas militants plunged into Israeli territory and killed around 1,200 people. “Dialect demand: If there is oppression, we will find someone fighting it. Glory of resistance!” Posted Early morning hours on October 7th, 2023.
“We are delighted with Momodou Taal, who has been solely held by the US,” Israeli activist group Betar told DCNF. “People who celebrate October 7th and seek to destroy the United States have no place in this country.”
Taal’s announcement makes him the latest well-known foreign student to self-swash, following the Trump administration’s crackdown on suspicion of Pro Hama’s activities on university campuses.
According to a statement from DHS in March, Ranjani Srinivasan, an Indian national who enrolled in the US on a student visa as a doctoral student at Columbia University, was involved in the pro-Hamas activities as a doctoral student at Columbia University. Her alleged activities in support of Hamas, a designated terrorist organisation, have revoked her student visa. DHS later released footage of Srinivasan, who was departing the US using the CBP Home app. This is a newly created app that includes features that illegal immigrants use when deporting themselves.
Since re-entering the White House, Trump has signed two declarations (Executive Order 14161 and Executive Order 14188) that aim to close the anti-Semitism and pro-Hama activities by foreign student protesters. His administration later detained Mahmoud Khalil, a Syrian-born green cardholder who became the face of anti-Israel protests, among foreign students at Columbia University, Lu Mesa Ozturk and Tufts University.
DHS officials have also detained Indian National Badar Khan Sri, a researcher at Georgetown University, and Rekhaa Kordia, a Palestinian on expired student visas, and have been previously arrested on suspicion of participating in Prohama’s activities at Columbia University. The administration also deported Rasha Alawyer, a Lebanese national who works as an assistant professor at Brown University after it is said that immigration officials were venerating photographs of images of Hassan Nasrara, the leader of the Hezbollah terrorist in which he died, and other professional terrorists.
