Hunter Biden Reflects on Political Landscape
A former aide to Barack Obama criticized Hunter Biden and his family’s approach following the “devastating” 2024 election result.
During a three-hour interview that aired recently, Hunter discussed various personal matters, including his father’s use of Ambien before debates and the discussion around addiction. He also commented on frustrations directed at prominent Democrats such as George Clooney, David Axelrod, and Anita Dunn. Tommy Vietor, the aide in question, returned to the conversation following what he described as an unhinged interview with Hunter.
Vietor expressed some relief that Hunter appears to be reflecting on the situation, admitting a degree of arrogance about his family’s political isolation. “It’s good for him to take a look at how our approach to politics has impacted this outcome,” he noted.
It’s encouraging to see Hunter acknowledging the impact of his family’s circumstances. Sometimes, it’s important to reflect, and it seems like he’s starting to do that. https://t.co/ytsarrnvzb

In what became a notable moment for the interview, Hunter unleashed a series of F-bombs, taking aim at his father’s early exit from the race.
Hunter Biden expressed his disdain for the Democratic leadership:
“Forget them all… Clooney’s a brand, not just an actor.”
“Kerrville hasn’t won a race in four decades.”
“Axelrod had just one significant win in politics: Barack.”

Clooney was notably among the first voices in the Democratic party calling for Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race last summer. Furthermore, Hunter commented on Jake Tapper’s recent book critiquing the Biden administration, questioning his credibility given his small audience in cable news.
He also mentioned Tommy Vietor and the “Pod Brothers,” pointing out their past roles as junior speechwriters for Obama, alleging they have significantly profited from their relationship with him.
