Former White House Advisor Refuses to Answer Questions about Biden Cover-Up

Former White House Spokesman Remains Silent on Biden’s Health Issues

On Thursday, Ian Sams, a former White House spokesman, declined to answer any questions related to the alleged cover-up of President Joe Biden’s declining health while testifying before the House Oversight Committee.

Sams marked the eleventh former Biden administration official to appear before the committee, which is investigating efforts to conceal concerns about Biden’s physical and cognitive state. While facing a Fox News reporter, Sams chose not to respond when asked about comments made by Chairman James Comer regarding protective measures for President Biden.

During the questioning, the reporter probed, “Chairman Comer mentioned an effort to shield President Biden, do you think that’s true?” However, Sams remained tight-lipped.

Sams previously served as a senior adviser to the White House legal team and as a special assistant to Biden. Despite his background as a key spokesperson for Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris during the lead-up to the 2024 campaign, he did not engage with reporters prior to his testimony.

Chairman Comer had expressed hope for substantial discussions during the committee’s proceedings, highlighting that he expected Sams and other former officials to shed light on their roles and decisions while serving under Biden. Prior to Sams’ testimony, Comer noted that he anticipated those officials would deliver insight and context about their experiences.

“Given his previous vocal presence in the administration, I’m sure he has plenty to share today,” Comer said, indicating his intent to ask extensive questions based on Sams’ earlier public statements.

In a letter requesting Sams’ testimony, Comer described him as a key figure in framing narratives that emphasized the administration’s challenges.

Other former officials, including Jill Biden’s former Chief Anthony Bernal and former Deputy Chief of Staff Annie Tomasini, along with Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, have also been involved in this inquiry, with some testifying that Biden’s age does not impede his decision-making abilities.
