Ghislaine Maxwell’s Comments on Trump and Epstein

Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of sex trafficking and a known associate of Jeffrey Epstein, made some surprising statements during a July interview with her lawyer.

In the transcription released by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on July 24, Maxwell challenged longstanding rumors about the relationship between Donald Trump and Epstein. She claimed they were “friendly” in social settings and stated she never witnessed Trump engaging in any of Epstein’s notorious behaviors, such as receiving massages from very young women.

According to the transcript, Maxwell said, “I’ve never actually seen a president in any type of massage environment,” asserting that he behaved appropriately at all times. “In the days I was with him, he was a gentleman in every way,” she added.

Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 for her role in grooming minors for Epstein, recalled her first meeting with Trump back in 1991 at his office in Madison Square Garden. She recounted details like him inviting her for tea and even mentioned a “ketchup stain” on his tie, finding him attractive at the time.

Maxwell also mentioned that her father had a friendly relationship with Trump. The DOJ has expressed interest in interviewing her further to gather “all reliable evidence” related to Epstein’s activities, potentially in line with Trump’s own desires for more information.
