Gila County Oral Health Program bringing brighter smiles to Copper Rim Elementary on February 5 – 8

Written by Carol Broder

Gila County – Dear Copper Rim Parents, The Gila County Oral Health Program will be held at your child's school Monday through Thursday, February 5th through 8th, providing services through our dental sealant program.

Please note that a consent form will be sent home at the end of January.
The County Oral Health Program partners with the Arizona Department of Health Services, the Cavity Free AZ Program, and Delta Arizona Dental to provide these services free of charge.

Dental sealants are a great preventative measure to protect your child's teeth from cavities. Our dental hygienists and dental assistants carefully perform the procedure, so there is almost no pain.

Dental sealants are thin protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of permanent molar teeth. Covers holes and cracks in teeth that are prone to cavities. Once placed, sealants last for several years, protecting your teeth and avoiding costly dental procedures due to cavities, saving your family time and money in the long run.

Free fluoride treatments will also be distributed to students at the event.
Fluoride varnish helps remineralize and strengthen teeth.

Our team has enjoyed working with some of Gila County's amazing students. We are excited to reach even more students in 2024.

A highlight for our team is seeing our students leave happy and excited about their enjoyable dental visit. This will help you feel more confident about your future dental visits.

We look forward to seeing our students in February!
