Bidders may also pre-register by returning a completed form to Vise Palmer at vpalmer@gilacountyaz.gov.

A complete list of tax liens is published on the Treasurer’s page on the County’s website at gilacountyaz.gov/government/treasurer.Gila County Licensed Publications, and the classifieds section of www.ananews.com.

There are about 800 parcels, and more will be listed this year as there are usually about 500 parcels delivered by auction date.

Block parcels can be found throughout the county and run the range from $15.14 to $12,320. This is the best tax lien on the list.

Please note that bidders are bidding based on the interest rate, not the amount of tax on the property. The winning bidder is not the owner of the parcel, but the right to remain silent and may not contact the owner or enter the premises.

The successful bidder of the tax lien must pay cash or bank check at the time of sale.
Transactions are processed by the county’s accounting office.

Winning bidders must pay a non-refundable $10.00 fee for each tax lien and a non-refundable taxpayer information fee of $10.00 and a non-refundable recording fee of $30.00 for each certificate purchased.
