Phoenix-Graham County Deputy Attorney Stephen Randell was named the 2022 Arizona Juvenile Prosecutor.
Randell was presented with the award Friday at the annual summer meeting of the Arizona Attorney Advisory Committee (APAAC).
Graham County Attorney L. Scott Bennett posted on social media about Randell’s acknowledgment.
“On the basis of his great skill, dedication, and commitment to justice, Stephen was named (that) juvenile prosecutor of the year,” Bennett wrote. ”
This was the second award for a Graham County employee of the week, as the Arizona Supreme Court awarded Graham County probation superintendent Josh Halverson with the Judiciary Administration Award at Wednesday’s judicial meeting.
Graham County Superior Court Judge Michael D. Peterson posted on social media about Halverson’s ruling.
“This prestigious honor is awarded to only one individual each year in recognition of outstanding contributions to the court system throughout Arizona,” wrote Judge Peterson. “Josh, thank you for working so hard for our county!”
