The Graham County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the help of the public in a search for the whereabouts of 12-year-old Betty Sue Taylor, who was last seen Sunday near Thunderbird Road and Highway 191 in Safford, Arizona.
The sheriff’s office received a call at approximately 8:06 pm on March 20 from Betty’s father, Justin Taylor.
Justin reported that at 11 a.m. Sunday, Betty said she was going for a walk.
Betty is 5 feet tall, 5 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She also has shoulder-length brown hair with red highlights that ends in a black sweatshirt with white lettering on the front, a neon colored baseball cap, blue jeans, turquoise and pink. Betty may be carrying a purple JanSport backpack.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, investigators are interviewing friends and others who have been in recent contact with Betty who are listed as missing persons with the State of Arizona and the National Crime Information Center.
