Horrifying footage has been released of the moment a mother and daughter were hit by a car shortly after leaving a Drake concert in St. Louis on Valentine's Day.
Dramatic footage shows Laticha Bracero and her daughter Alyssa Cordova, 21, walking across a crosswalk when a car suddenly runs a red light and skids another car, killing them both. The scene where he was run over was shown. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said Bracero died at the scene and Cordova later died at a hospital. TMZ. The alleged driver, 22-year-old Monte Henderson, was quickly located and arrested.
According to TMZ, Henderson has been charged with two counts of armed criminal action and two counts of manslaughter. Police said Henderson allegedly sped away in his Jeep Cherokee, running multiple red lights for several blocks, hitting the victim and injuring several other pedestrians. claimed to have reached.
Prosecutors argued that Henderson was a danger to society and fought to keep him in custody, but he was eventually released on $20,000 bail. Police said Henderson was traveling at speeds in excess of 70 mph, but they do not know why he was traveling at such speeds. It was later revealed that Bracero and Cordova are from Chicago and were visiting St. Louis specifically to attend a Drake concert.
