‘Gutless Rules’: Legendary Director Francis Ford Coppola Blasts Film Industry In Scathing Post

Francis Ford Coppola has announced a scathing reaction to the film industry after being declared the worst director of the film “Megalopolis.”

The legendary director blows up the entertainment industry after his film won six Razzy The nomination on Friday highlights the box office failure of his $120 million project. The Razzies, formerly known as the Golden Raspberry Awards, is a Parodia Word show that laughs at the film’s failure every year before the official Oscar Awards show Airs.

“We are excited to accept the Razzie Awards in so many important categories of @megalopolisfilm. And, for the outstanding honor of being nominated for worst director, worst script, and worst photo, few have the courage to oppose the general trends of contemporary filmmaking!” Coppola wrote on his official Instagram page on Friday.

He previously stated that he didn’t want to wake up from the film, but that was front and center when making the film. The director has modestly defended his box-office flop, which only brings the following: $12 million Globally with his latest social media explosion.

“In today’s world wrecks where art is scored as if it were professional wrestling, I chose not to follow the brave rules that have been cut down by an industry that fears the risk that they might not create a picture of themselves 50 years from now, despite a huge pool of young talent,” writes Coppola.

Coppola continued to boast about the film and the people who stood behind it.

“I would like to thank all my incredible colleagues who joined me to create my work of art, Megalopolis. And remind us that the box office is just money and there is no real place in our future, like war, stupidity, politics,” he writes.
