She has held her credentials as a state elections officer since 2009 and has been directly involved in all Yuma County elections since 2008.

“I am honored and excited to begin my role as Interim Director of Election Services,” Guzman said. To do.”

In 2022, Guzman successfully completed the Certified Election and Registration Administrator (CERA) program through the Election Center and Auburn University. CERA is the only national professional credentialing program dedicated to voter registration and election administration.

Guzman will remain as Interim Director of Election Services pending an official hiring announcement.
