Graham County – The National Weather Service has issued a severe cold warning for parts of Graham and Cochise counties.
The Severe Freeze Warning is in effect from Wednesday, February 15th at 11:00 PM until Thursday, February 16th at 9:00 AM.
Additionally, wind advisories for gusts up to 55 mph are in effect Tuesday night through Wednesday.
For hard freezing, expect temperatures to drop to 10 degrees below zero. Take the necessary steps now to protect your plants from the cold. Additionally, outdoor water pipes should be wrapped, drained, or slowly dripped. If you have underground sprinkler systems, they should be drained and above-ground pipes should be covered to protect them from freezing.
