Arizona City, Arizona (3TV/CBS 5) – Flooding near Arizona City has closed roads and canceled elementary schools.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office first reported major flooding near the city of Arizona on Sunday morning. Agents have reportedly responded to disabled vehicles in the area, and officials have said the road could be closed if conditions worsen throughout the morning and afternoon. The intersection of Sunland Gin and Battaglia is closed, as are other streets in the area.

Arizona City Elementary School Share on Facebook The Toltec School District has decided to close the Arizona City Elementary School and Toltec Elementary School on Monday, December 5, due to flooding.
Some local church officials are trying to determine if it is safe to hold morning services.
