HMS 7th grader Rebecca Corkins will be taking part in Arizona’s Spell Bee on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona
The Chino Valley Unified School District hopes to congratulate Heritage Middle School Rebecca Culkins by winning the 79th Yavapai County Spelling Bee in February and expanding into the Arizona Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 15th, 2025.
The Saturday event, hosted by the Arizona Education Foundation, will be held at Madison Arts Center, Phoenix, Arizona, 5601 N 16th St.
Grade 7 Corkins will join 27 other finalists at the state level to get the chance to advance to the national stage at Scripps National Spelling Bee, which will take place in the Washington, DC area on May 27, May 28 and May 29.
