YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. — A Yuma County man died under “suspicious circumstances” and is being investigated as a homicide, officials said.
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said Maximino Garcia Sotelo, 73, was found dead during a welfare check at his home near County 16th Street and Avenue B in Somerton Sunday afternoon. It was announced that an investigation had begun.
Other details about the investigation were not immediately released by the sheriff’s office.
